SERVICES & FEES

What To Expect:

Real and lasting change requires a time, energy and financial investment in yourself. Sessions are 50-minutes and weekly, and a minimum of 6 months is a typical course of therapy. Sessions are available in-person, on video, or via phone.

Our unique approach integrates deep exploration as well as practical steps towards real change, which means that you will develop self-awareness while setting goals and strategizing ways to achieve those goals. The initial session will give you a chance to share what you’re looking for help with and answer several questions about yourself in order to provide us with all of the information we need to help you the most. After the first session, we’ll invite you to share anything that’s on your mind, including what you’ve been doing, thinking about or feeling.  As you share in each session, we will guide you to help you gain clarity about who you are and where you’re trying to get to in your life.

Fees:

Fees are based on our level of expertise and number of years in practice. Please contact us to inquire about fees.

Drs. Kim and Adamson are Lyra Health providers. If your company offers this benefit, we will submit directly to Lyra for reimbursement.

While Drs. Kim and Adamson are out-of-network providers, they can provide you with a “superbill” each month, a form that you may submit to insurance for the possibility of partial or full reimbursement.

To find out how much coverage your insurance provides, ask the following questions:

◦                     Do I have mental health benefits?

◦                     Do I have coverage for individual therapy (CPT code 90834) with an out-of-network (“OON”) provider?

◦                     How much will insurance cover and how much will I be responsible for paying?

◦                     Do I have a deductible? If so, how much of that have I met?

◦                     How many psychotherapy sessions does my insurance plan authorize per calendar year?

Sliding Scale: Drs. Kim and Adamson offer a reduced fee on a limited basis for those who are unable to afford their full fee.

You hav the right to a Good Faith Estimate in accordance with the No Surprises Act (Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act).
